Love was in the air this weekend. I vacuumed. Casey worked. I worked. I ran a lot of miles. AND our friends, Colby and Tanner got engaged! I was the secret photographer, only turns out I really suck at being sneaky as evidenced by the photo of Colby waving to me below. Hopefully she will forgive me since I did manage to get a few magical shots. Anna and Michael and obviously Tanner were the brains behind the operation, and they did a beautiful job setting up a super romantic proposal.
Ah, love. Other than that and this:
Casey and I spent most of the weekend working. OH, but I did manage to get some fancy earrings from Yutumi, owned by my marathon-running buddy. And by that I mean we ran a marathon together. She keeps asking me to do another one, but that full marathon seems kind of like a once in a lifetime opportunity for me.
The office was slow today, because about half the staff took MLK Day off. Turns out accounting world was not slow. However, it seems like I could manage a career switch. If you don’t like profanity, don’t scroll down.
I love text message screen shots. Today, Rachel and I woke up at 5 a.m. to go to a class called CSI at the Y. We’re trying to be hardcore badasses. However, we looked nothing like badasses compared to the teacher who was in her third trimester and really good at doing fancy steps. I’m not good at dancing, so mostly I stuck to basic right and basic left. All in all, I feel I would have gotten a better workout if I had stayed asleep. Anyway, Rachel and I were assessing our poor decision-making skills earlier today. Rachel assured me that the day would fly by seeing as I was destined to be in zombie status. I felt she was wrong in this situation. But I still like her for her funny jokes and willingness to run with me in the evenings.

Wow. A master’s degree in accounting can get you a box of colored pencils? Who knew? Also, I didn’t know there were so many different colors of poo. This has been a very educational post for me. Thank you.
