A house and Blue Bell

GUESS WHO DOESN’T HAVE TO HEAR ME COMPLAIN ABOUT LIVING IN A ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE? Ya, dude. You.

You might already know we bought a house, but here is the official announcement, because Casey made me wait until our loan was approved. Something about how it was the “responsible” thing to do or some shiz.

Wahoo! We’re gonna live in a real house with multiple bathrooms (3.5 to be exact, holla)! I’m so excited about all the bathrooms! If you’ve ever been married with just one bathroom, I know ya feel me.

Lately, I’ve been telling Casey all the reasons I can’t wait to move. This was yesterday’s reason:

Stunning view, I know. Let me know if you need a mattress, and I’ll go snatch that up for ya.

Casey and I celebrated the new digs the same way we celebrate everything. With ice cream.

Sexy.

In case you couldn’t tell by the first picture, the house is new construction, so we won’t be moving for a few months. In the meantime, I’ve managed to go visit EVERY weekend. Usually multiple times. Here is my new living room:

It’s a little messy, but ya know Casey is the neat freak in the relationship, and he’s been in busy season so‚Ķthat explains it.

The process is a little further along than the below now, but I want to document the whole process!

Tonight is our first design meeting, so I’m sure I’ll have more to share, but right now I’m just stoked about the square-footage. And multiple bathrooms. SO MANY TOILETS! How exciting!

Casey also let me buy a cat tree off Groupon yesterday, so things are really looking up lately. He said he only let me buy it because he thinks it will distract them from sitting on my lap and attempting to sit on his. But really I think it’s because he loves them, don’t you? Just seems a little more likely.
